The room smelled like sewage coming from the bathroom and the staff had given us a document to sign saying that money would be automatically pulled from the credit card we paid with for any damages discovered after we left. The room already had some damages that we documented and we didn't sign the form. Good location close to the vatican but horrible smell and shady form.
This is clearly fake representation, they’ve got in fact 2 hotel in 1. The one on the picture which is renovated and pretty cute and then an other part where the rooms are old and smells like mold. There is no pictures of those old room on the site and if you book a standard room , this is what your gonna get, without access to the cute commun kitchenette area with coffee and tea machine. Manager and staff are rude and not welcoming at all. I had argument with them about the room because we didn’t get what we paid for and after 2 hours they agreed to discount my reservation. It was a very bad experience.

Great hotel! Clean rooms and incredibly helpful staff. Location would be incredibly convenient, but the train lines were closed for maintenance when we were here. Any other time, the location would be perfect.
Very nice staff and room. We came here at an unfo time for us and the staff was so kind and aided us in all our needs. Really heartwarming. Thank you
First of, the room was dirty, a lot of dust on the floor, windows and even the bathroom. Secondly, the comforter doesn’t have any cover and when I asked the receptionist she just told that they don’t have cover until the Winter season, and told me that of we get cold, we’ll just use the dirty and uncovered comforter. No toiletries,tissue and no cold water in the shower. We’re taking a bath with warm to hot water in hot Summer. The tv is not working, and they don’t even resolved the problem. The receptionist just told me that the other room don’t have also, meaning We just have to bear with it. Last thing is they come inside our room without even informing us, i can’t tell if they are cleaning it or what because for 5 days our room was dirty. 👎🤦♂️👎-10/10 and please, the Filipino receptionist was rude and ill mannered.

Is there a subway and bus line close to the hotel: yes. Lepanto (metro), line 81 (bus)
The hotel is on the third floor of the building, for check-in call the attendant through the bell. It's a small hotel, if you're looking for a traditional hotel pay more and don't complain.
Would I stay at this hotel again: yes.
Really good location walking distance to castel sant'angelo and vatican.
Rooms are a bit small and elevator is a bit scary. We were told that a baby trolley would fit but it did not, we had to fold it every time.
